Chief Creative Officer
Peter Salmon joined Endemol Shine Group as its Chief Creative Officer in 2016. He oversees the Group’s creative operations with a mission to champion new ideas globally and accelerate the rollout of Endemol Shine’s scripted and non-scripted programmes across both linear and digital platforms.
In more than three decades in TV production and broadcasting, Peter has held senior leadership positions at the BBC, Channel 4, Granada TV and The Television Corporation.
Prior to joining Endemol Shine, Peter led the BBC’s new television production division BBC Studios which he created in 2015. He also held a number of key positions at the British broadcaster, including Controller of BBC1, Director of BBC Sport, Chief Creative Officer of BBC Vision, founding Director of BBC North, and Director of BBC England. Under his leadership at BBC Sport, Peter pioneered interactive television and BBC Sport Online, while as Director of BBC North in Manchester, he ran the UK’s biggest production centre outside London.
A highly experienced programme creator and producer, Peter developed and ran programmes such as Crimewatch UK and the Nature environment series for BBC Bristol, where he was also executive producer of Oscar-winning Wallace and Gromit animation The Wrong Trousers (1993). At the BBC he oversaw in-house productions including ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘Top Gear’, ‘Dragon’s Den’, ‘EastEnders’ and ‘The One Show’, while at Granada Television, his output ranged from Coronation Street to World in Action.
In 2002, Peter was co-inventor and founder of Sport Relief, now a £200m charity.
Boudewijn Beusmans is CEO of EndemolShine Netherlands and Chairman of Endemol Shine Group’s North-West European operations, which comprises The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland and the Nordics.
In his 10+ year career at Endemol Shine Group, Boudewijn held a number of senior positions including Group Commercial Officer, overseeing the Group’s distribution and M&A activities as well as strategy and legal affairs, and Group Legal Officer. Boudewijn joined Endemol in 2005 from Dutch law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek where he was a corporate lawyer.
Ivan Nash Vila joined Endemol Shine Group as Chief Financial Officer in Autumn 2016. Based in the Group’s headquarters in Amsterdam, Ivan leads the Group’s entire finance operations including controlling, accounting, tax and treasury as well as internal controls.
Ivan has over 20 years of international experience in Operational Finance, M&A, Business Development, Strategy and Investor Relations in the TMT sector.
Prior to joining Endemol Shine, Ivan was CFO of UPC, a Liberty Global-owned company, overseeing financial operations and strategy for the combined business in Austria/Switzerland and Central & Eastern Europe. During his time at UPC, Ivan led the restructuring and integration of the Swiss and Austrian operations, expansion of finance processes to the CEE, and the development of new business in areas including mobile, content and other new platforms.
Ivan joined Liberty Global in 2005 when the company acquired Cablecom, Switzerland’s largest cable operator, where he was Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations. He went on to hold numerous other senior management positions at Liberty Global including Director of M&A, Head of Financial Planning, and Head of Investor Relations Europe.
Emma Moloney joined Endemol Shine Group as General Counsel in 2016. Based in Amsterdam, Emma leads the Group’s Legal team and oversees the company’s distribution business (ESI).
Prior to joining Endemol Shine, Emma was General Counsel at News UK. She also held senior positions within the legal teams at Sky and was the Global General Counsel at National Geographic Channel International.
Emma has held positions at several international legal firms, including Axiom, where her clients have included Amazon, Sky, G4S and also at Ashurst in London and Allens in Australia where she worked on the launch of pay TV channel, Foxtel.
Jana Belyusova joined Endemol Shine Group in 2015 as Chief People Officer. She oversees the Group’s Human Resources activities globally, setting the company’s HR strategies in support of future growth. Jana also sits on Endemol Shine Nederland’s Supervisory Board.
Prior to joining Endemol Shine Group, Jana was Chief HR Officer for Royal Philips, enabling functions worldwide, including finance, legal, global brands, communications and digital.
Jana has also led large HR teams at a number of other global companies, including Nike’s Retail & E-commerce business, where she was responsible for over 5,000 employees in 17 countries.
Jana serves on the executive board of The Hague Process on Refugees and Migration.
Patrick Keegan is Endemol Shine Group’s Director of Marketing & Communications and oversees the company’s corporate communications and marketing activities globally. Patrick joined the Group when Endemol merged with Shine Group, where he was previously Director of Communications since 2010.
Prior to joining Shine Group, Patrick spearheaded Freud Communications’ entertainment-led accounts including BSkyB, Shine Group, Gallowgate, Baby Cow, bebo, as well as a selection of talent and the BAFTA’s Television and Film Award ceremonies. He also led agency campaigns for public bodies including Visit London and worked on the successful bid for the London 2012 Olympics. Patrick started at Freud as a unit publicist representing several high profile clients, including the hit gameshow Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and TV presenter Chris Evans.
Patrick is a regular contributor and guest presenter on radio for BBC London and LBC and sits on the BAFTA Television Committee.
