Endemol Shine Group’s Ambulance heads to Israel

Global content creator, producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group today announce that factual hit Ambulance has been commissioned in Israel.

Endemol Shine Israel has closed a deal with Reshet to produce eight episodes of the series which will be filmed across Israel and will give an extraordinary insight into front line emergency medical teams.

This deal follows the recent news that Endemol Shine North America has been ordered by CBS to produce a series in the US, whilst format creators Dragonfly, part of Endemol Shine UK will produce an eight episode second run for BBC One.

Ambulance is making its international debut at MIPTV 2017 where it is among the highlights for Endemol Shine Group in Cannes.

Created in the UK by Dragonfly, Ambulance was BBC One’s highest rating factual premiere of 2016.   It was the channel’s highest rated factual premiere of 2016, regularly winning its timeslot and achieving an impressive peak audience of 4.81 million viewers and a 20.3% market share. The show performed extremely well with younger viewers pulling in up to +50% more than the slot average and 18% share of Adults 16- 34 tuning in.

Ambulance gives extraordinary insight into front line emergency medical teams, with each episode capturing the dramatic shifts of the paramedics, controllers and call handlers, providing a 360 degree view of the service.
