Endemol Shine Iberia creates cinematic new social experiment for Movistar

Global content creator, producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group today announce a new social experiment from their Spanish production company Endemol Shine Iberia.

The Bridge, which will be known locally as El Puente has been created by Zeppelin TV, part of Endemol Shine Group. The ambitious series will run as 8 episodes in a primetime slot on Movistar‘s #0 later this year.

The Bridge is an adventure like no other.  A group of strangers have one thing in common; they all want to win life changing treasure, which lies on an island 300 metres away. To get it, they must build a bridge across the water in just 30 days. If they are successful, each contestant will vote individually who deserves the treasure. The one with the most votes has to make a once in a lifetime decision, to share the prize, with who or keep it for themselves.

The cinematic Spanish series was filmed in a stunning, wild location in Patagonia.

The format will be among Endemol Shine Group’s highlights for MIPTV 2017 and will be showcased at an exclusive breakfast for prospective broadcasters on Tuesday morning in Cannes.
