Endemol Shine Brazil scores second series of All Together Now for Record TV

04/07/2019

Global content creator, producer and distributor, Endemol Shine Group today announces that a second series of All Together Now has been commissioned in Brazil.

Following a successful first season which aired last year, Endemol Shine Brazil will produce 11 new episodes of the celebratory singing contest for Record TV. Known in Brazil as Canta Comigo, the series will be once again presented by Gugu Liberato and will air in a primetime slot.

Other recent second series commissions include Poland where the series aired on Polsat and Denmark, where the premiere was Kanal 5’s highest rating launch in five years and was quickly ordered for a second run which is currently in production.

The entertainment format successfully launched in Netherlands on RTL4 in May where it outperformed all competitors, Italy where the spectacular finale drew 2.7 million viewers and a 19.1% market share, delivering a series record for the inaugural run on Canale 5 and Russia where the series debut on Rossiya 1 in March opened with 2.55 million viewers.

Created by Remarkable Television, part of Endemol Shine UK, All Together Now was named the fastest travelling new format of 2018, having sold to thirteen markets across Europe and Australia. A hub in Central and Eastern Europe was utilised to film both the Polish and Romanian versions.

Juliana Algañaraz, CEO of Endemol Shine Brazil says;

“All Together Now brought a new positioning for singalong competitions in Brazil with an unprecedented scenario structure. We can’t wait to get back into the studio with our fantastic, uplifting party atmosphere, that always invited all Brazilians to sing with us. Record TV were thrilled with the ratings for the first season and we have ambitious new plans for the show’s return.”

Lisa Perrin, CEO of Creative Networks adds;

“Brazil is a great example of what this format can deliver, with excellent performances and the wonderful variety of characters within The 100. It’s brilliant to announce a renewal of the show in a key Latin American market such as Brazil.”

Endemol Shine Brazil produces successful local versions of hit formats such as MasterChef, and The Wall. The company are also behind a range of branded content series including Best.Cover.Ever where they partnered with local music festival VillaMix and drinks company Ambev to launch a Brazilian version of the US show and Cabelo Pantene, o reality, a multiplatform reality show which searches for Pantene’s Brazilian brand ambassador and was recently adapted in Portugal for the same brand.

All Together Now sees a range of talented singers (solos and groups) perform in front of The 100, an audience of great singers with big voices and even bigger opinions. If any of The 100 like what they hear, they can stand up, join in and sing along. The greater the number that join in, the higher the act’s score. At the end of the series, one act will walk away with a major cash prize. So, who can get The 100 on their feet and singing along?
